Small project description:
Galp's upstream projects aim to optimize assets with a strong focus on subsea integrity and addressing the challenges posed by CO2 stress corrosion cracking (SCC-CO2), which impacts both safety and production. As part of these efforts, R&D has led to the development of ROVScan, a specialized tool designed to assess the integrity of flexible flowlines under SCC-CO2 stress. The tool has undergone field-based operational tests to validate its effectiveness in real-world conditions (TRL-7).
