Galp Innovation Day brings together the technology ecosystem to co-create the future of energy | Upcoming Energies

On 4 and 5 June, Galp hosted the fifth edition of Innovation Day at its headquarters in Lisbon. The event gathered startups, companies, regulators, academics, and energy experts to discuss and co-create innovative solutions for a more sustainable energy future.
The first day featured inspiring moments, including speeches by Galp leaders and a keynote by Marc Giannone, founder of Raceforce Global, on high-performance leadership.
The second day, focused on Galp employees and was centered around the practical side of innovation. It included roundtables with technology partners, startup pitch sessions from Dealflow.EU and Unicorn Factory, and discussions on how to turn scientific research into real market solutions.
Throughout both days, participants had the opportunity to explore the Tech Booths, where Galp's cutting-edge technological projects were presented. One of the highlights was the Id.Lab - Laboratory for Innovation and Decarbonization by Galp. With pilot units in Sines and Brazil, Id.Lab allows catalysts and alternative raw materials to be tested, contributing to the optimization of industrial processes and low-carbon fuels’ production.
The Innovation Day stands out once again as a platform for dialogue and co-creation, reinforcing Galp's commitment to open and sustainable innovation.
