Galp Ignites Innovation: Three Pioneering Research Projects Secure Grants Under IJUP Empresas Program | Upcoming Energies

On the 27th of November, Galp awarded grants to three research projects under the IJUP Empresas program. The aim of the program is to nurture and incentivize applied research, through supporting relevant industry projects where seasoned researchers mentor young students. 

João Ribeiro from Galp's Open Innovation and Jorge Ribeiro from Galp's Industrial Innovation awarded three projects on the topics of:
1) S.O.S. HYDRO-MAR: Off-grid system Sodium Borohydride - HYDROgen for MARtime applications (Head Researcher: Alexandra Rodrigues Pinto);
2) DAC - Direct Air Capture  (Head Researcher: Adélio Mendes);
3)  Electrifying the future with wireless technologies: Electrode-less-batteries enabled by ferroelectrics (Head Researcher: Maria Helena Braga).
