C2C NewCap, LEITEK and Omniflow at SIM Conference with Galp | Upcoming Energies

Galp supported the 2nd edition of the SIM Conference, held on May 8–9, 2025, at the Alfândega Congress Center in Porto, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Organized by Startup Portugal, the conference featured an exhibition area dedicated to startups and incubators, along with Reverse Pitch and Startup Pitch sessions, offering multiple opportunities for interaction and fostering dialogue and collaboration among various industry stakeholders.

On the first day, Galp highlighted its focus on collaborative innovation by showcasing three of its partner startups — C2C NewCap, LEITEK, and Omniflow — which presented their technology-driven solutions for the energy transition.
 

On the second day, Carla Tavares, Head of the Renewables & Commercial Innovation Center at Galp, participated in the panel "Corporate Catalysts: Can Big Industry Really Fuel Startup Growth?", where she shared Galp’s perspective on the role of large companies as drivers of startup ecosystem growth.
