2nd Workshop at Galp and Nova's Interdisciplinary Energy Research Community | Upcoming Energies

The Galp/Nova Sustainable Energy Systems Community has run it's second workshop bringing together 16+ researchers from multiple faculties to continue exploring three challenges relevant to Galp: Biomethane; second-life batteries, and renewables value chain.

João Ribeiro and Nimay Celikyay from Galp's Open Innovation team were present alongside the Nova Rectorate Innovation Team. In the workshop, Isabel Rocha, Nova's Vice-Rector for innovation, announced the launch of two funding tracks that will soon be available to researchers for supporting projects. Participants received the news with enthusiasm and the call for projects should open in March 2024.
